Cookie Policy

Effective Date: March 30, 2026 • Version 2.2

Privacy First: Zendeet does not sell your personal browsing activity to third-party advertising data brokers. We utilize cookies and browser storage strictly to ensure session security, preserve user preferences (e.g. dark mode), and optimize application responsiveness.

1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit websites. They allow our web servers to recognize your authenticated session across page loads and keep you logged into your workspace securely.

In addition to standard cookies, Zendeet utilizes HTML5 LocalStorage and SessionStorage to cache client-side interface state, such as active UI filters, table column widths, and unsaved draft form inputs.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

A. Strictly Necessary & Security Cookies (Essential)

These cookies are indispensable for the core operation of Zendeet. Without them, authenticated login sessions, CSRF token validation, and API rate-limiting cannot function.

• zendeet_session (Session identifier & encrypted auth tokens - Expires: Session / 2 hours)
• XSRF-TOKEN (Cross-Site Request Forgery security shield - Expires: 2 hours)
• remember_web_* (Encrypted persistent login cookie for multi-day sessions - Expires: 30 days)

B. Functional & Preference Cookies

These cookies remember choices you make to provide a personalized experience.

• theme_preference (Light / Dark / System mode toggle - Expires: 1 year)
• sidebar_collapsed (Dashboard navigation drawer state - Expires: 6 months)
• active_workspace_uuid (Current active tenant workspace selector - Expires: 30 days)

C. Performance & Infrastructure Telemetry

These anonymized cookies help us monitor server response times, diagnose JavaScript exceptions, and optimize our CDN routing globally.

• __cf_bm (Cloudflare bot management & DDoS mitigation - Expires: 30 minutes)

3. Managing and Disabling Cookies

Most modern web browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent:

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection
  • Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

Please note that if you choose to block strictly necessary cookies, critical parts of the Zendeet platform (including login and billing checkout) may become inaccessible.

4. Global Privacy Control (GPC) & Do Not Track

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) standard. When a GPC signal is detected from your browser, our system automatically ensures non-essential diagnostic telemetry is disabled.
